Division of Work 

Zhang Feng is responsible for the regular work of Kunshan Municipal People’s Government; being in charge of the work concerning development and reform, commerce, finance, information technology (big data management), education, Duke Kunshan University on behalf of the Chinese side, natural resources, health care, emergency management, state-owned assets administration, statistics, taxation, administrative examination and approval, government affairs service administration, medical security, administrative transparency, major projects, government offices administration, food and strategic reserves, Yangtze River Delta regional integration, construction and promotion of Kunshan Pilot Zone, collaboration between the eastern and western regions, counterpart support and cooperation, and cooperation of Kunshan with cities in northern Jiangsu, etc.

He oversees the work of the General Office of Kunshan Municipal People’s Government, the Finance Work Office, the Big Data Resources Management Center, the Development and Reform Commission, the Commerce Bureau, the Education Bureau, the Natural Resources and Planning Bureau (the Forestry Bureau), the Health Commission, the Emergency Management Bureau, the Administrative Examination and Approval Bureau (the Government Affairs Service Administration Office), the Medical Security Bureau, the Statistics Bureau, the Government Offices Administration Center, Duke Kunshan University Development and Promotion Center, Kunshan Chuangye Holding Group Co., Ltd, Yangcheng Lake Culture, Commerce and Tourism Group Co., Ltd. and Rural Rejuvenation Construction Group Co., Ltd.

He assists in charge of the Finance Bureau (the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Office), the Audit Bureau.

He is in charge of liaison with the Protocol Office, Kunshan Committee of the Communist Youth League, the Kunshan Women’s Federation, Kunshan Branch of the Red Cross Society of China, Customs, the People’s Bank of China Kunshan Branch, Kunshan Supervision and Administration Group of Suzhou Banking and Insurance Regulatory Bureau, Kunshan branches of various financial institutions, the Taxation Bureau, Kunshan Power Supply Company, and Kunshan Investigation Team of the National Bureau of Statistics of China.

Zhang Feng, male, born in October 1974, holding a doctoral degree, is a member of the CPC. He is Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Kunshan Municipal Committee, Deputy Mayor and Deputy Secretary of the Leading Party Members Group of Kunshan Municipal People’s Government. He once served as bureau deputy and deputy secretary-general of a county-level municipal government, bureau head of a county-level municipal government, Party Secretary of a CPC township committee, and Deputy Secretary of a county-level CPC municipal committee (temporary post), etc.
